There is this idea called “God’s Plan.” This idea encompasses us all: followers, non-believers, dead, alive, Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian, young, old. No matter what you’ve heard, we are all experiencing “life” together.
God’s plan for our life is to love God and love others. That’s it! That’s the filter, the filter for everything we do.
In church culture you here a lot of people proclaiming, or wondering about, “God’s plan for MY life.” Now don’t think I am pointing fingers, because I am guilty of this misconception as well, that’s probably why I’m writing this. No, I am not pointing at the intent, just the focus. Its’ great to seek after God, but not in a selfish focus. God is the selfish, and all loving at the same time, He’s the only that can pull both off at the same time.
I think the proper question or proclamation would be, “What is God doing around me and how can I impact those people’s lives with what God has given me as strenghts?” Love God, Love others!
